富久千代酒造 酒造改修ギャラリー Fukuchiyo Sake Brewery, Steel Wall Gallery
100年以上の歴史を持つ酒蔵の改修プロジェクト。登録有形文化財である旧精米所を、2枚の鉄板を挿入して構造補強し、日本酒の展示・試飲ができるギャラリーとして再構成している。酒蔵天井のアップライトはギャラリー内部からも垣間見え、鉄板壁は自由に展示できるよう、壁際のライティングレールからアームタイプのスポットライトを計画した。
This project is the renovation of a 100 year old sake storehouse. Inside the old rice mill, a registered cultural asset, two large iron sheets were inserted to reinforce and reconfigure the structure into a Japanese sake exhibition space with a taste testing gallery. The up lit storehouse ceiling is also visible from inside the gallery and for flexible use of the gallery walls, the design includes lighting rails and arm-type spotlights.
