灯デザイン

木組みの伝統構法にて100年を見据え建てられた、呉服屋さんのショップ、ギャラリー。杉・桧などの美しい木材に、安易な配線や器具設置が憚られる中、建築に馴染ませながら消灯時の姿も美しい建築化照明を模索した。
ホールには、ベースライトとして細いライン状の光を造作している。木組みの建築材のように「ライン器具+アクリルバー+和紙」のパーツの組合せとすることで、100年先に向けてそれぞれを更新できるようにした。

This project is a small kimono shop and gallery, designed using traditional timber-framing construction methods and built to last over a 100 years. The use of beautiful woods such as cedar and cypress makes careless wiring and fixture installation undesirable. Therefore lighting is seamlessly integrated with the architecture, ensuring that the building remains aesthetically pleasing even when the lights are off.
The hall is finished with narrow linear lights, creating base lighting. The combination of "linear fixtures + acrylic bars + washi paper parts" mimics the traditional wooden construction method of combining parts to make the whole, which also allows each component to be updated individually over the next 100 years.
