灯デザイン

「本や人とゆるやかにつながり、自分の居場所と感じられる図書館」をメインコンセプトに、減築・増築など試みた図書館の改修プロジェクト。
照明計画では、住宅の延長のような親しみやすさを意識しながら、かつ多様な居場所を感じ選べるよう、手法や器具を各所違えて計画した。
多様ではあるが、将来的な器具更新時に複雑にならないように、ライティングダクトや引掛シーリングによるシンプルな電源供給や、ライン器具の納まりなど考慮している。

This is a renovation project involving partial demolition and expansion of a library. The main concept is "a library to gently connect books and people with an at-home feel." The lighting design creates a friendly atmosphere, with intimacy that feels like an extension of one's home, while also emphasizing and ensuring that various spaces feel welcoming and selectable. Although diverse, lighting tracks and hook ceiling systems with simple power supplies and linear fixture arrangements were specified to alleviate complexity during future fixture updates.
