山中湖村平野交差点バス待合所・観光案内所 Bus stop and tourist information at Hirano intersection
交通量の多い主要な交差点に建つ、観光案内所を兼ねたバスの待合所。バスは村唯一の公共交通であり、遠距離バスも発着する。
建築の木軸三角グリッドに合わせた照明システムとして、ライティングダクトと天井間接照明を設けている。
長押が床上2150mmと低く位置するため、ライティングダクトを長押上部に取付けて、スポットライトがぶら下がることによる圧迫感を抑えた。
グリッドで空間が小さく分断して感じられないように、大屋根や案内カウンター背後の壁面など、空間の背景として大きな面を照らし見せている。
This building was constructed at a major traffic intersection to serve the dual-purpose of a bus stop and tourist information center. The bus is the only public transportation in this small town with some long-haul buses also departing from this bus stop.
In the structure, a system of track lighting and ceiling indirect lighting is arranged to fit a triangular grid of timber struts. The clearance and the lowest point for some beams is 2150mm. Therefor, lighting tracks are mounted on the top side of the beams to avoid a sense of tightness if spotlights were hanging below.
Also to alleviate the feeling of a divided space because of the gridlike design, light illuminates two large planes, the expansive roof and the wall behind the information desk, to create a backdrop of light for this space.
